They say video killed the radio star-("star" might be generous)-but after a decade behind the mic and a 25 year hiatus, I prefer to think I've simply evolved.  As the host of CCM Discovery, I've traded the mystery of the "radio voice" for the clarity of a video podcast. 

I've always believed the best art isn't just heard or read-it's felt, and the best way to feel it is to understand the heart of the person who created it.  Everyone has a story-a discovery-worth sharing, they just need a microphone and a moment.  I'm honored to provide both. Whether I'm sitting down with a viral newcomer or a CCM icon, my goal is to pull back the curtain and reveal the drive, the resilience and the God-given talent behind their calling.

Using the pen name (Raffaele) of my paternal grandfather, I shifted my focus from poetry and short stories to filmmaking and screenwriting.  I received certifications from film and scriptwriting institutes, a Christian writer's guild and have consulted on a plethora of film projects.  While teaching aspiring screenwriters, I received my MA in script and screenwriting until pursuing a Master of Divinity from Liberty University.  I am currently collaborating with a faith-based production that will be released upon completion.  It is an honor to work with CCM Discovery to introduce Christian artists fulfilling their calling. 

I sincerely believe that effective communication is essential for any successful relationship. My motivation comes from my faith, Jesus, coffee, and my six-year-old granddaughter, inspiring me to be a source of love while enjoying the simple pleasures of Maine. Ultimately, I hope to hear "well done, good and faithful servant," and I believe that embracing the mission of CCM Discovery will help me connect with others in a genuine and spiritual way, making a positive impact.
